Global has designed and is currently trialing a new milling device for the Apex hip.

Many of our surgeons believe that the optimal preparation for an uncemented stem involves milling the cancellous bone along with the cortico-cancellous bone (high density) that is found in the load bearing areas of the medial femoral calcar.

Whilst not widely available, a number of our clinical advisors have had the opportunity to use it with very positive feedback.
