Global Orthopaedic Technology participates in humanitarian mission to Honduras
Steve Banks and Mike Ribot have had a long association with Dr. Barry Sorrells, a well known Orthopaedic (knee) surgeon from Littlerock Arkansas, who is now leading humanitarian aid missions to Honduras.
Barry and his colleague’s visit the impoverished nation 2-3 times per year and provide Orthopaedic surgery and humanitarian assistance to the needy people.
The management at Global is delighted to be part of this important initiative.
Global will provide inventory and instruments free of charge to enable a significant number of joint replacements to be performed and will also bring a number of Australian Orthopaedic surgeons and nurses who have willingly and generously given of their time and expertise.
“It’s great to be able to give something back and to work with Barry again”, Steve and Mike said at a recent meeting.
"A number of Australian Orthopaedic surgeons are keen to help us with this initiative”.
